Nacionalni park Brijuni
Brijuni National Park is a picturesque archipelago off the west coast of Croatia, near the city of Pula. It consists of 14 islands and is known for its pristine nature, Mediterranean vegetation, and rich wildlife. In addition to stunning landscapes, the park offers many attractions, including:
- Roman ruins, such as the remains of a Roman villa in Verige Bay
- Dinosaur footprints, found on several islands
- The Safari Park, home to exotic animals like zebras, llamas, and elephants
- The Church of St. Germain, a 15th-century church with frescoes and Glagolitic inscriptions
- Tito’s Residence, the former summer retreat of Yugoslav leader Josip Broz Tito
- The Archaeological Museum, housed in a Venetian fortress, showcasing artifacts from different historical periods
