Located near Lokve, Golubinjak Forest Park is one of the most beautiful natural areas in Gorski Kotar, ideal for nature lovers, recreation, and family excursions. This forest oasis is rich in dense coniferous trees, vast meadows, and impressive rock formations that create a unique landscape.

Golubinjak is famous for its natural phenomena, such as the Bear’s Den (Medvjeđi brlog), Hell’s Gate (Paklena vrata), and the Ice Cave (Ledena spilja), which amaze visitors with their mystical beauty. Additionally, the forest is home to one of the tallest fir trees in Croatia, standing over 37 meters high, known as the Queen of the Forest (Kraljica šume).
